Looking for a highly entertaining companion that looks a little like he just leaped from a Disney cartoon about dogs in space? A Kansas shelter has you covered.

This 1-year-old border collie named Hank is possibly the coolest-looking half-dog, half-robot combination on the planet. And to top it off? He’s a goofy guy who will provide endless hours of laughter and zoomies.

Unfortunately, he’s been at the shelter for a long while.

“Hank’s Log: Day 114 at the Shelter,” the Helping Hands Humane Society in Topeka said in a Jan. 14 Facebook post, jokingly imitating Hank himself.

“Citizens of Earth — It is I, Hank—your part-cyborg, part-border collie, full-time good boy. I’ve been monitoring this shelter for quite some time, waiting for the perfect human to recruit for my intergalactic playgroup (yes, it’s a thing.)”

Hank is blind in the eye that looks like it gives him superpowers. While he doesn’t let that stop him, he does have a caveat when it comes to his eye:

No sneaking up on him.

“I may be blind in one eye, but that just makes me mysterious. Call it my cyborg laser vision if you want—it sounds cooler. Pro tip: Approach me on my good side, and I’ll grant you unlimited cuddles,” the shelter said.

Other things to know about this snuggle bug:

“I thrive in snow, rain, or sunshine. Think singing in the rain but with more hops, skips, and zoomies,” the shelter noted.

He loves to run and play.

“Playgroup rockstar status: confirmed. I love the kind of play where we chase each other around like lunatics. Wrestling? Meh. Catch me leading the “chase to be chased” Olympics instead,” the shelter added.

His pet profile also says he’s an independent canine and isn’t great around children.

For more information on Hank or other adoptable animals, visit the shelter’s website.
