A 30-year-old climber died after falling from a Nevada route, officials said.

On Jan. 18, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Search and Rescue responded to Pine Creek for a rescue mission of four stuck climbers, according to a Facebook post by rescuers.

During the mission, another rescue mission ensued on the opposite side of the canyon, rescuers said.

Micah Manalese of California and an avid climber, was rappelling down the route when she fell and died, officials told the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

She “passed away doing what she loves, rock climbing. She had been climbing for 10 years. It was her one of her many passions and talents in life,” her sister said in a Jan. 23 Instagram post.

On Jan. 22, Manalese’s boyfriend took to Instagram and said “I lost my best, friend, my partner in crime, my girlfriend. I am crushed.”

Search and rescue personnel responded to Manalese’s location with a helicopter but she died at the scene, KTNV reported.

Pine Creek Trail is a 2.4-mile out-and-back trail near Las Vegas, according to All Trails.

“Rock climbing was her absolute favorite activity to do. Strong and ambitious, Micah had been climbing since 2014. She would frequently train at Sender One in Santa Ana, CA and was a part of the rock climbing community in Southern California. With the training, she somehow managed to squeezed in time with her family and friends. She could do it all. She was unstoppable,” Manalese’s GoFundMe said.
