Delivery drivers shot while caught in the crossfires of shootout, Pennsylvania cops say
A man is in critical condition and two food delivery drivers were also injured after a shootout in a Pennsylvania neighborhood, according to police and news reports.
An 18-year-old and a 16-year-old were making a delivery when they were caught in the crossfires of the 7:30 p.m. Feb. 3shooting on Reese Street in Philadelphia, according to WCAU.
Police said the 16-year-old was shot four times — twice on her left thigh and twice on her right thigh. The 18-year-old, according to police, was shot once in her right thigh.
The food delivery drivers are in stable condition, WPVI reported.
Authorities found a 26-year-old man had been shot multiple times throughout his body, according to a police report.
He was taken to a hospital and listed in critical condition, police said.
Investigators said more than 30 shell casings from three weapons were recovered from the scene.
The shooting is believed to have stemmed over drugs, Philadelphia Police Inspector D.F. Pace told WCAU. No arrests have been announced as of Feb. 3.
