A woman was attacked by her teenage children, who are accused of trying to kill her when she turned off the household Wi-Fi, Texas cops said.

In a post on X, Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said sheriff’s deputies and detectives responded to a call the night of March 23 in a western Houston suburb.

When they arrived, detectives said they found a woman who’d been assaulted by her three teenagers, ages 14, 15 and 16. According to Gonzalez, they attacked because she turned off the Wi-Fi.

“The three siblings allegedly coordinated a plan to try and kill the mother,” Gonzalez said.

He said they grabbed knives, chasing her through their home and out into the street, and striking her with a brick during the chase. During the chase, they knocked over their grandmother as she tried to protect the mother, according to Gonzalez.

All three were booked into Harris County Juvenile Detention Center and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Neither woman was seriously harmed.
