Dead man found burned and shot, CA cops say. Pair arrested on murder charges

A duo was arrested following the discovery of a body that had been burned and shot, California officials said..

Solano County deputies responded to reports of a dead body April 13 in Vacaville, according to an April 26 Facebook post by the sheriff’s office.

Once they arrived, they found the body of Adam Muela, burned with gunshot wounds, deputies said.

After conducting interviews and reviewing forensic analysis, deputies arrested 52-year-old Clifton Summerise and 42-year-old Maria DeLeon on April 22, officials said.

They were arrested and booked into the Solano County Jail on murder and robbery charges, officials said.

The homicide investigation remains ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call 707-784-7050, officials said.

Vacaville is about a 60-mile drive northeast of San Francisco.
