A man killed in a Columbia ATV crash was identified by the Richland County Coroner’s Office Sunday.

After colliding with a tree Tommy Terrell Jones, Jr., died, Coroner Gary Watts said in a news release.

The wreck happened just before 9:30 a.m. Saturday, according to the release.

The 28-year-old Hopkins man was riding the all-terrain vehicle at 915 Saddlewood Road, Watts said. That’s near the intersection of Zimalcrest Drive and Broad River Road, close to the junction with Interstate 20.
