Isaiah Lee, a 40-year-old Columbia resident, was the victim, Richland County Coroner Naida Rutherford said Monday.

No other injuries were reported.

When the officers found the victim they also detained Murray, and he was taken to department headquarters for questioning, police said.

Murray was then arrested and taken to the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center, where he was charged with the crimes, according to police. No bond has been set for Murray, who remains locked up, jail records show.

Information about a motive for the shooting remains under investigation, police said.
