SC woman has been missing for weeks since leaving hospital, police say

A search is underway for a missing South Carolina woman.

Tiffany Nicole Mullen was publicly reported missing by the Sumter Police Department on Tuesday. The 33-year-old Sumter resident has not been seen for three weeks, police said in a news release.

There was no word about why Mullen was just reported missing.

Mullen was last seen at about 3 p.m. Nov. 20, leaving a medical facility in Sumter, according to the release.

Police did not offer a description of Mullen, but included a photo in the release.

There was no word if Mullen was alone when she was last seen. Police did not say if foul play was suspected in Mullen’s disappearance.

Information about why Mullen was at the medical facility, and if she is need of medication or treatment, was not available.

Police said their investigation has led them to believe that Mullen could be in the Atlanta, Georgia area.
