Movie night in Indian Land is getting more dinner options.

Nana Morrison’s Soul Food signed on to open in the RedStone shopping center. It’ll go in the same new building as another coming attraction, Taipei Express Chinese Restaurant.

Nana Morrison’s Soul Food

Nana Morrison’s should open early next year at 9725 Redstone Drive. The restaurant that began in 2011 has two Charlotte locations and another in Florida. The menu includes fried fish, pork chops and chicken, along with baked, barbecue and curry options. More than a dozen sides have blackeyed peas, mac and cheese, stuffing, collard greens and potato salad.

Banana pudding, sweet potato pie and peach cobbler join half a dozen cake options on the dessert menu.

Taipei Express

For another option, diners can try beef lo mein, steamed scallops, spiced pork or plenty of other options at Taipei Express. Like Nana Morrison’s, Taipei Express comes from Charlotte where it has a site on Providence Road.

The two new restaurants fill about half of the 9,500-square-foot building that will bridge the gap between a successful first phase and a coming second one at the 150,000-square-foot RedStone.

The RedStone 14 movie theater anchors a completed first phase with food options The Office, Portofino’s, Aroma Indian Grill & Bar, The Greek Grill, Super Chix and others.

A second phase is expected in 2026 with almost 23,000 more square feet of retail, 360 apartments and an event lawn.
