Want to try a new business in the new year? Here are new openings in Rock Hill region

A new chicken wing spot teased its Fort Mill grand opening, while a Rock Hill restaurant celebrated its own. They aren’t alone.

Chipotle opened a new spot, its third in the greater Rock Hill area, on Friday. The new restaurant is at 2316 Cherry Road. Online, VooDoo Wing Co. posted a photo of its sign going up in Fort Mill ahead of a grand opening. That new restaurant will be at 1646 Hwy. 160, suite 107.

York, Lancaster and Chester counties continue to grow with new business. Chambers of commerce in those areas have several events planned to celebrate the newest among them.

Here’s a look at those planned events across the three counties.

Campo WEIGHTless Center will host a ribbon cutting at 2 p.m. on Jan. 5. The 998 Riverwalk Parkway, suite 204 site in Rock Hill offers weight loss programs, counseling and lipotropic injections.

Sweet Repeat Thrift Store in Lake Wylie has a grand reopening event from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Jan. 7. Sweet Repeat is a charitable organization at 4082 Charlotte Hwy. that supports dozens of area causes, and reopens after almost three weeks closed for renovations.

Andrew Berks State Farm has a ribbon cutting at 4 p.m. on Jan. 10. The new insurance company is located at 1739 Airport Road in Lancaster.

OneHope Wine with Patricia Crawford has its ribbon cutting at the Lancaster County Chamber of Commerce office at 453 Colonial Ave. in Lancaster. The Jan. 12 event starts at 11 a.m. The company sells wine and hosts wine events, including parties and fundraisers.

The Office Gym Rock Hill has a grand opening 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Jan. 14. The 2197 Dave Lyle Blvd. site is a new fitness center.

Lancaster Grove Senior Living has a ribbon cutting at 11 a.m. on Jan. 24 at 1004 Hardin St. in Lancaster. The business is a retirement and assisted living community.

Globe Life has a ribbon cutting at 11 a.m. on Jan. 31 at the Lancaster County Chamber of Commerce office at 453 Colonial Ave. in Lancaster.

Better Bound Bookstore & Youth Development Corporation has a grand opening for its new renovation at 11 a.m. on Feb. 1. The youth development business at 232 S. Cherry Road, suite 130 in Rock Hill works with at-risk youth.

Nash Patient Advocacy and Consulting hosts a ribbon cutting at 4 p.m. on Feb. 21. It will happen at the Lancaster County Chamber of Commerce office at 453 Colonial Ave. in Lancaster.
