Fort Mill has a new sports pub on Main Street. Here’s why, and what to expect

Downtown Fort Mill has a new sports pub.

Owners of The Flower Bar at 221 Main St., suite 102 posted plans on social media to create a new sports pub concept effective immediately. It’s set to open today with a new menu and “the most aggressive beer and cocktail prices” in the area,” per the post.

“With other amazing companies popping up on Main Street we have decided to change direction,” it reads. “We will sink our heart and souls into becoming the best family friendly sports pub in the area.”

Flower Bar opened in February in Fort Mill. The floral and food concept was similar to locations in Rock Hill and Spartanburg. In a separate post on its Facebook page, ownership commented there were too many similar restaurants that opened about the same time in Fort Mill for the prior concept to take hold.

There have been recent changes to the Main Street food scene like the swap out from Emmet’s Social Table to Center Theatre Pizza & Ice Cream at 100 Main. There are new spots like Fortes Mill Eatery and Whitaker’s, and other staples like Hobo’s, Improper Pig and Amor Artis.
