Rock Hill retail center now full after new tenant joins Chipotle, Five Guys

With new pizza, burger and Mexican food options on the way, shoppers at Allston may need a place to stretch out and catch their breath. There’s one of those coming, too.

Club Pilates is the latest and final tenant at Allston. On Herlong Road at Arden Lane and Bly Street, the new development will put 97 townhomes and more than 8,800 square feet of retail space beside one another.

Club Pilates will take 1,600 square feet in a multi-tenant building that’s under construction. It should be done this spring.

It’s the same 6,500-square-foot building that will bring a Chipotle, Ledo Pizza and Five Guys.

In August developer Warren Norman Company announced plans for the second Chipotle in Rock Hill. Another is on Cherry Road.

An announcement for Ledo Pizza, a company with a site on Herlong Avenue, followed a week later. In October Warren Norman announced Five Guys — there’s one on Meeting Boulevard near the Galleria Mall — would join Allston.

Club Pilates began in California and now has more than 800 studios worldwide.

The closest ones to Rock Hill are studios on Len Patterson Road in Fort Mill and Kensington Drive in Waxhaw, North Carolina. The Rock Hill addition will make six Charlotte area studios.
