New trampoline park bounces its way into Rock Hill’s Galleria Mall. There’s a zipline too

A new trampoline park is coming to Rock Hill’s Galleria Mall.

The Warren Norman Company announced the addition Wednesday. Big Air will add a ninja course, climbing walls, zipline, dodgeball and a mechanical bull. It’ll also have areas for children 6 and younger, a cafe and party rooms.

The new bounce place will take up 30,000 square feet of space at the mall. There are six Big Air sites in South Carolina, and 16 nationwide.

Rock Hill native Ashley Colwell and her husband, John, will open their second Big Air, according to the announcement. The pair also own one in Lexington.

“Our roots are here in Rock Hill,” Ashley Colwell said in the announcement.

The 2295 Dave Lyle Blvd. location joins a mall anchored by Belk, Dick’s Sporting Goods and Ashley Furniture. There’s also the Stars and Strikes bowling alley.

After being involved in the land development decades ago for Galleria Mall, Warren Norman bought the mall five years ago.

The new trampoline park will be designed in the space and employ about 100 people. It should open in the third quarter of next year.
