Another Lancaster County lottery ticket hit big. Here’s how much this one won.

A Lancaster man has some extra spending money for the holidays.

The man, who declined to release his name or plans for the prize money, bought a winning Bonus Bonanza ticket at the AM PM Gas & Grill on Lynwood Drive in Lancaster. On Dec. 6, he claimed a $250,000 prize.

According to South Carolina Education Lottery officials, the man said he plays when he travels and plans to win again. The Lancaster store received a $2,500 commission for selling the winning ticket.

Six more top prizes of $250,000 remain in the $10 Bonus Bonanza game. Odds are 1 in 675,000 to win. The Lancaster ticket came just four days after another $250,000 Bonus Bonanza winner in Darlington County, and three days before a $250,000 winner in the Gold Rush game sold at Geezer Bait & Tackle in Orangeburg.

The Lancaster win continues the good luck for some in York, Lancaster and Chester counties the past few months. A Corner Stop store in Rock Hill sold a $300,000 winner claimed Oct. 7, in the Palmetto Cash 5 game. A 7 Eleven in Indian Land sold a $250,000 Gold Rush ticket, claimed Nov. 12.

Millers Store in Fort Mill sold a $250,000 10s to Win ticket, claimed Oct. 30. A $125,000 ticket claimed Sept. 16 in the Triple Winning 7s game sold at the Times Turn Around No. 10 in Fort Mill.

Together, just those five winners combine for almost $1.2 million.
