York County deputies ask for public’s help in search for missing 21-year-old woman

York County deputies are asking for the public’s help as they seek a missing woman.

Lillian Ann Marie Payne, 21, was last seen May 13, at the Flying J travel plaza on S.C. 901 off Interstate 77 south of Rock Hill, said Trent Faris, spokesman for the York County Sheriff’s Office.

The travel plaza is on Mount Holly Road, adjacent to I-77 near Exit 73.

Payne was last seen wearing black jeans and a dark colored T-shirt, Faris said.

Deputies have been investigating but have not located Payne, Faris said.

“We have exhausted all our resources looking for her and now are asking the public if anyone has seen her,” Faris said.

The sheriff’s office announced that Payne was missing on its Facebook and Twitter social media sites.

Anyone with information can contact the sheriff’s office at 803-628-3059 or York County Crimestoppers at 877-409-4321.
