One wounded in York County shooting near Rock Hill mobile home park, sheriff says

A search for suspects is ongoing following a shooting Wednesday evening near a mobile home park outside Rock Hill, York County deputies said Thursday.

Deputies and the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department helicopter responded after 6 p.m. to Adnah Hills Avenue located west of Rock Hill. The area is off Adnah Church Road, between S.C. 161 and S.C. 5.

The victim was shot several times, said Trent Faris, spokesman for the sheriff’s office. Deputies have not identified the victim who was taken to an area hospital.

No arrests have been made as of Thursday morning, Faris said. No other details about the shooting have been released. other than deputies are looking for at least two people.
