Rock Hill, South Carolina police are investigating after a 17-year-old male was hurt when shots were fired into a home on Arnold Street, the police department said.

Four people were shot Saturday night at a “social gathering” at an apartment complex in Rock Hill, police said.

At least one person shot is in critical condition, Rock Hill police Lt. Michael Chavis said Sunday morning. The conditions of the other three people was not available. All four were taken to area hospitals for treatment.

Shortly after 9:15 p.m., Rock Hill officers found the four victims in the 1700 block of Heather Square in the city’s northern section. The area is near Interstate 77 and U.S. 21 off Celanese Road.

The four people with gunshot wounds and others were in an apartment when the shooting happened, Rock Hill Police Department said in a statement. None of the victims have been identified.

Officers from other York County law enforcement agencies also responded because area police were doing traffic enforcement in the area at the time.

No arrests had been made as of Sunday as the investigation continues, Chavis said.
