TOUS les JOURS, a French-Asian bakery café chain, is opening in Ballantyne.

Charlotte’s food scene is about to get a bit sweeter with the expansion of a café designed as “the ultimate French-Asian bakery experience.”

Tous les Jours is bringing its freshly baked goods and flavorful blended drinks to Ballantyne, with its new location opening Feb. 27 — its fourth bakery in the area in less than three years.

With more than 1,740 across the globe, including over 100 in the U.S., the French-Asian chain has become a beloved staple in the world of bakeries.

Tous les Jours — which translates to “every day” — entered the Queen City culinary scene in 2022, followed by its sister locations at Super G Mart in Pineville and in South End shortly thereafter.

Now, local foodies can venture to Ballantyne to get a taste of the popular neighborhood bakery, which will be taking over the space formerly home to Bagel Bin & Deli II, which closed in March 2024. It’s near Cast Iron Waffles, Lorenzo’s Pizza, The Club House Bites and Booze and 9Round on Orchard Stone Run.

Whether you’re craving something sweet or savory, Tous les Jours has dozens of artisan baked goods, cakes, pastries, sandwiches and pies, along with coffee, teas and smoothies like:

  • Chocolate dipped Belgium waffles

  • Honey cheese mochi pancakes

  • Strawberry, green tea and mango cloud cakes

  • Almond, chocolate and garlic and cheese croissants

  • Guava and spinach feta danishes

If you want to check out the newest Tous les Jours, the Ballantyne location will have a soft opening Thursday, Feb. 27.
